John Coste graduated from the Delaware Law School of Widener University and was admitted to the Bar of Pennsylvania and the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 1982. In 1995, he received a post doctorate master’s degree (LL.M.) in Trial Advocacy from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia. While John began his career practicing criminal defense in Philadelphia, concentrated on personal injury litigation since 1988. For over 25 years he has focused his practice on making negligent individuals and companies take full responsibility for their actions when their negligence injures another.
In 2008 John was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona and in 2010 permanently relocated to Arizona. He is a member of the Arizona and Maricopa County Bar Associations, and the Arizona Association for Justice/Arizona Trial Lawyers Association. He joined the Litigation Department of Hastings and Hastings in 2014.
In addition to practicing law, John enjoys bicycling. He rides several thousand miles per year, and has participated in El Tour de Tucson and the Tour of the Tucson Mountains as well as charity rides for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Cancer Society. John and his wife, Fran, reside in Glendale.
