Brake Pads—Brake pads keep the brakes of your car functioning correctly. They should be changed every 50,000 miles and it usually costs only $50-$100 in total.

Tires – Tires spend their entire lives rolling across the rough and rugged surfaces of the road. Here in Arizona the temperature of said roads can get as high as 140 degrees! It is important that you keep your tires inflated to the correct PSI (pounds per square inch) as specified by their manufacturer. Tires must also be periodically rotated and changed. Proper tire maintenance can actually increase your car’s MPG!

Fluids and Filters – Filters help to remove contaminants that may sneak their way into a car, and fluids ensure your car runs smoothly. Changing them frequently can also increase the longevity of your car.

Proper car maintenance isn’t fun, and it does come with a cost. Remember, money spent now can save even more money down the line. Cars that have been taken care of can easily stay on the road well past 100,000 miles!
